NEQTO.ai Platform Changelog

Version 2.3: Introducing Data Push, Widget Math, and Smarter AI Analytics

June 23, 2026

This update brings powerful new capabilities to our AI analytics, gives you more control over your dashboards, and introduces highly requested flexibility to your alerting workflows.

AI Chatbot & Analytics Upgrades

Our “Ask AI” assistant and analytics engine just got a lot smarter, shifting from purely descriptive text to active problem-solving.

  • In-Chat Calculations: You can now ask the AI chatbot for derived insights in plain language (e.g., “What was our average efficiency last week?”) and receive the computed math results directly inline.
  • Custom Attribute Relationships: Define mathematical equations and relationships between different attributes to power advanced analysis and create custom chart values. Create widget calculations by combining numeric data points with arithmetic operators.
  • Smarter Time & Date Handling: Chatbot responses now include explicit dates and localized relative times.

Devices, Endpoints & Data Ingestion

Managing large fleets of hardware is now simpler and more secure.

  • NEW FEATURE — Data Push: sends an arbitrary payload in real time from the NEQTO.ai server to a connected Device Endpoint. It can be used to deliver commands or data to a device on demand. It is available only for endpoints using the MQTT or WebSocket protocol (HTTP/HTTPS endpoints cannot receive a push).
  • Expanded Hardware Support: Enjoy broader EnOcean Equipment Profile (EEP) compatibility for a wider range of device types, alongside MQTT worker stability improvements for smoother data ingestion.

Visualizations & Dashboards

We’ve added more granular control over how you visualize your data, while cleaning up edge-case display bugs.

  • Status Widget Updates: Enjoy expanded configuration options for gauge visualizations. We’ve also introduced new single-status and multi-status display options, including Pie and Doughnut chart types to make device states easier to read at a glance.
  • Map Widget Enhancements: Map data now converts to widgets more reliably. Map pins are dynamically color-coded by alert severity.
  • Widget Calculations: Device data widgets can now transform data based on simple arithmetic between device attributes.
  • UI Polish: We fixed full-screen and zoom behaviors on dashboards, and long text values in label charts will no longer overflow their containers.
  • Data Push Widgets: You can now add Data Push widgets straight to your dashboards. Choose between a Form layout (for entering and sending arbitrary data on the fly with optional pre-filled defaults) or a Button layout (a one-tap interface to quickly trigger up to four pre-configured commands).

Powerful New Alerting Capabilities

This release kicks off Phase 1 of our Alert Improvements, giving you much tighter control over how and when you are notified.

  • “None-Of” (NOR) Logic: You can now build advanced alerts that trigger only when none of a specified set of conditions are met. This includes a quick “negate” toggle for single conditions.
  • Alert Muting: Users can mute alert notifications globally, with application-level exceptions.
  • Rich Alert Metadata: Add deep context to your alerts by attaching Application names, Endpoints, Tags, and Custom Notes to notifications.
  • Independent Notifications & Live Feeds: You can now set independent notification intervals specifically for anomaly and connectivity notifications, allowing you to control how frequently you are alerted on these specific events.

Application Simulator Scoping

For teams using our simulator environment, we’ve moved away from a global view to a more organized, isolated workspace.

  • Per-Application Access: The simulator is now securely scoped to each individual application, accessible via a dedicated sidebar entry featuring a demo-endpoint picker.
  • Custom Fields: You can now safely add, edit, and remove custom device fields using typed inputs.

Documentation & Account Self-Service

  • Account Renaming: Account Administrators can now rename their accounts directly in the console. This change automatically syncs with your billing profiles.
  • Refreshed User Guides: Our user documentation has been fully updated across alerts, Ask AI, maps, devices, the simulator, Data Push, and widget calculations—complete with fresh screenshots to match the new UI.

Version 1.26.2: Real-Time Precision & Smarter AI

February 21, 2026

Effective monitoring isn’t just about collecting data, it’s about getting the right information to the right person at the exact moment it matters. This update focuses on reducing noise, increasing speed, and giving you total control over your automated insights.

Alerts & Notifications: Faster, Quieter, and More Personal

We’ve overhauled our alerting engine to move away from “inbox clutter” and toward real-time operational awareness.

Total Control Over Alert Lifecycle

  • Manual Alert Unlock: No more waiting for timers to expire. Operators can now manually unlock alerts from the management panel the moment a situation is resolved.
  • Intelligent Throttling: For alerts without a specific unlock condition, we’ve extended the cooldown from 60 minutes to 24 hours. This ensures your team isn’t bombarded with duplicate notifications for the same persistent condition.
  • Zero-Lag Triggers: Timer-only alerts now evaluate and fire the instant conditions are met, bypassing the previous scheduled check cycles for immediate response.

Streamlined Delivery

  • Real-Time WebSockets: We’ve replaced slow “polling” with WebSockets. Your browser now receives alert events instantly, watch your history and analytics update in real-time without refreshing.
  • Targeted Email Selection: Stop “reply-all” fatigue. You can now specify exactly which users receive email notifications for a specific alert, ensuring only the relevant stakeholders are notified.
  • Human-Readable localized Emails: Our notification emails are now fully localized in English and Japanese, featuring clear formatting for sensor types and threshold values that anyone can understand.

AI Chatbot: Operational Awareness

Your AI assistant is now more stable and deeply integrated with your device history.
  • Alert-Aware Conversations: The chatbot now sees your recent alert events. When you ask, “Why did this device go offline?” the AI uses actual alert history rather than just raw data to give you a more accurate diagnosis.
  • Precision Control (Temperature): Tailor the AI’s personality to the task. Use Low Temperature for precise, deterministic answers during a crisis, or Higher Temperature for creative trend analysis and brainstorming.
  • Technical Accuracy: We’ve fixed a case-sensitivity bug, ensuring that string matches like “Open” or “Closed” are now handled correctly without being forced to lowercase.

Dashboards & Translation Gaps

We are continuing to refine the visual tools you use to monitor your fleet.
  • Custom Chart Ranges: You can now define the exact X-axis observation window for chart widgets, letting you focus on the specific timeframes that matter most to your KPIs.
  • Enhanced Table Widgets: Table charts now support customizable row and column labels, making complex data grids much easier to read.
  • Seamless Localization: We’ve closed translation gaps in our authentication and password reset flows, ensuring a 1:1 experience for our Japanese-speaking users.

Maintenance Note

We’ve also cleaned up the backend, enabling bulk alert history deletion and normalizing the data structures between the chatbot and manual forms to ensure your settings remain consistent across the platform.

Version 1.25.12: Reliability & Usability Refinements

December 25, 2025

Enhanced Data Accuracy

  • The “Zero” Fix: We resolved a display issue where Single Status Widgets would appear blank when a value was exactly 0. Your “zero” values will now render correctly, ensuring you have a true representation of your sensor data.
  • Flexible Widget Configuration: You can now clear or set the Duration Setting to an empty value on single widgets. This provides more flexibility when you want to remove specific time-constraints from your dashboard views.

Security & Access

  • Consistent Password Rules: We’ve synchronized our password validation across the entire platform. Whether you are signing up for the first time or updating your credentials, the frontend and backend now share the same clear, consistent requirements to eliminate “validation loops.”

Developer Tools: Flexible Data Retrieval

  • New UUID Endpoint: We’ve expanded our connection capabilities by adding support for the data/v1/uuid/* endpoint pattern.
    • Why it matters: You can now retrieve data using a device’s UUID rather than just its ID, offering much greater flexibility when integrating neqto.ai with your existing devices.
